Check that data is arriving

The setup check on the Setup tab tells you whether Formleak hears from your website, and what to do if it doesn't.

The Setup tab of each website shows a setup check. It updates by itself while you have it open.

  • Waiting for data: the code isn't on your live site yet, or nobody has used a form since. Open a page with a form, click into a field and wait a minute.
  • Data is arriving: all good. Your forms appear on the Forms tab as people use them.
  • Events are being blocked: data arrives from a different web address than the one you entered (for example www.example.com instead of example.com, or a staging domain). The check shows the address it saw. Change your website's address in Formleak to match, or add the code to the right site.

Still waiting?

  • Check that you pasted the code on the live site, not only in a draft or preview.
  • Using a caching or speed plugin? Clear its cache. If it delays JavaScript, exclude formleak.com/t.js.
  • Ad blockers in your own browser can stop the script. Try a private window.
