Filter by device, traffic source and period

Compare mobile with desktop, or ads with search, and look at the last 7, 30 or 90 days.

Every form page has filters for device (mobile, tablet, desktop) and traffic source (direct, search, social, paid ads, email, referral), and a choice of the last 7, 30 or 90 days.

Traffic source is worked out in the visitor's browser, in this order: an ad click code in the link (from Google, Microsoft, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn or X ads) means Paid ads; then campaign tags (utm_medium, utm_source) that say paid, email, social, search or referral; then the website the visitor came from: a search engine is Search, a social network Social, a webmail app Email and any other website Referral. No previous website, or another page of your own site, is Direct. Tags Formleak can't place count as Other.

Only the category is kept, never the address or the tags themselves. Because Formleak uses no cookies, the source describes how the visitor reached the page with the form: someone who lands on your homepage from an ad and then clicks to the contact page counts as Direct there.

Device comes from the browser's own description of itself (its user agent): phones are Mobile, iPads and Android tablets Tablet, everything else Desktop. Only the result is kept.

Days follow your website's own time zone, set when you added it.
